My coach has a subzero 700 series drawer fridge. It quit cooling over the weekend. Called an appliance repair place they looked at it said.. 1100 for parts and labor to replace evaporator coil..  Called sub zero, I have a warranty on sealed system parts till 2017 so they are sending me the parts for free. Called appliance repair place asked how much it would be if I had the parts they said 700.. And it takes an hour and half to fix. Now I know they have to recharge it with freon but 700 for  an hour and a half seems steep.. Options?

Sounds like they are going to charge you for the money in labor that they are losing in parts markup.
I would try a new company and tell them you have your own parts.
I would think sub zero warranty would cover parts and labor.
Sounds like they don't want the job.. Did sub zero recommend them??
The sub zero warranty on sealed parts is 12 years no labor..I'm tryng other people now
Ended up going back to newell. Was cheaper to drive 200 miles round trip and pay them than have a local guy do it
