I found the gas struts for my coach at http://www.spdhardware.com, part No. GSNI2300150. The cost is $18.13 each, plus shipping.
that is one source. i used http://www.stampededist.com/struts.html

considerably cheaper.

Chester,

I am a SPD Hardware shopper as well. Maybe I didn't look hard enough at Tom's link, but I did not see prices or a way to order online. Doing my own order must be worth something to me. Tom may be the ultimate shopper/negotiator, so listen to him.
Russ and Tom, I clicked on Columbus as well, but finally decided to order the same brand and part number that I took off of the coach.
it is a small operation and you have to email or call them. i have bought from them for both my coaches.

quality of the gas springs appear to be as good and they are way less in price. i paid less than half of what the SPD ones were going to be.

thats just my experience. its nice to have choices.

to
www.orrorr.com- I have purchased many gas springs from them in the past, also
Called today and spoke with Steve at Columbiastruts and looks like they went way up with gas shocks.
GS 2200-150 20"-150lbs 6 shock sell for over $100
that about 18$ per shock
yea i looked on their web site and was surprised at how much they went up.

now we just have to find another good source......

At Orr and Orr, you can set up an account, request a catalog and they have an insert pricelist in that catalog that shows prices way lower than on the website. FYI
[attachment=728][attachment=729][attachment=730]I Found guy in Yakima , WA who has dealt with sturt shocks for many years , its family business.
Order my shocks on E Bay
Thsi person was super knowlagable and I learned great deal about our shocks in Newell.

Number One - and most important was that many of us mount the shocks reverse ! with rod up ( close to the door bay ) but correct way to do it is other way , rod down, you get way better lubrication ans way smoother movement of the shock, they will outlast 2-1 rod down style.

Number Two- Mike said to me in his years businees with shocks he hardly ever had to help someone with shock not fitting in the bay ( Newell case ) he send me some shorter shock for free try and i did not use tool !!! just press in play!! they are quater inch shorter and rated for 130 vs 150 but I am using this pair on my 46" long bay and they are perfect!

Number tree lesson - is to never use screwdriver to pull the holdinf flat pin around the fittings , use flat tool and just lif the pin from the side .

Mike is super nice guys and very fast service Fedex from yakima to Tucson,AZ in 4 days !

shock are as you see in the photos rated 150lbs GS 2000 made with four not two seals by Mid Columbia trut & spring model MCS 2000-150

You can find them on Ebay or directly from www.Strut-Your-Stuff-Here.com

Tell them Les Korcala send you so I can get free pair of struts, haha! just joking! I am glad I found this guy!

I ordered 5 set ( pairs ) and it was like some $150 including s/h
pair sells for cool $13
