I have already got a few inquiries about the 2017 no rally rally at Bella Terra resort in Foley, AL.

Any & all are welcome to join us.  Suzy & I will be there from May 8th thru June 3rd.  Join us for any time within that period or the entire time.  Bella Terra is a top rated resort with all expected amenities.  Suzy & I will be in site #349.  They have 3 levels of sites which range from no improvements to full outdoor kitchens.  Make your own reservation for the site you desire.  All Newells are welcome in this park!

The resort is located just a block north of Gulf Shores, AL and is just a 15 minute drive to a beautiful white sand beach.  Lots of good restaurants & shopping to meet any one's taste.  During this period the area has a balloon fest, Art in the Park and a music festival on the beach.  It is only a 1/2 hour drive to Florida.

My travel agent, Rhonda, has reserved site 260 for May 13 through May 20. I think about one week of us is all the rest of you can take. :-)

Do they accept Classic Newells, or do we have to park outside ?

I hope you plan on joining us.  The park does have a 15 year rule, but all Newells are accepted.  Note that I am older than 15 years.  If you have any problem, let me know & I will take care of it.

I just talked with Katie at Bella Terra. She said she preferred if those of us with coaches older than 15 years book via phone because the online booking would require us to click the box "My coach is not older than 15 years old" falsely. She said they run into this all the time with Newells and Prevosts. She took my reservation, then sent an email asking for a recent picture of the coach.

She also said that if any 3 of us are on property at the same time, we would be eligible for a "Friends & Family" discount, although the Good Sam's 10% discount maybe better depending on your rate.

For now, we are just planning to stay for a long weekend May 12 - 15th. We may stay longer if I can work remotely.

After booking the reservation and putting on my personal calendar, I realized that Sunday May 14th is "Mother's Day" just to give you men a heads up, it might be a good day to do something extra special for your bride and mother of your children, or your own mom :-)

I also spoke with Tom & he and Darlene are looking at the possibility of coming over for a week.

We've never had more than three show up, but I think we are around 8 or 9 that have reserved spots or said they are coming! If you are in the area please take a look at joining us.

Carolyn and I are booked for May 8th to May 20th. I hope all those coming will be there during those dates as I am very much looking to seeing everyone.

We are considering going there prior to the Rally in Ruidoso. Hopefully many of the folks will attend the official rally as well and we can some of us travel together there.

For those of you that have not joined us at Bella Terra before,  our no rally rally is really just an opportunity for Newell owners to socialize with other Newell owners in the S/E part of the country.  Our get together is before the Ruidoso rally and is designed as a way to join up early with others who are going to the Ruidoso Rally.  If you can only go to one gathering, choose the Ruidoso Rally as it is the official rally that is sponsored by this forum and sure to be a great time!
