I am on 44 west bound about 11 miles west of Vinita ok. Lost air. Can air up ok with emergency brake on but if I apply brakes or release emergency brakes all air drains pretty quick.
Have roadside service coming.
Dang too bad you can't limp it back to newell
I am guessing that you have either blown a diaphragm on the ebrake can that releases the brake, or torn a line loose that feeds those cans.
Richard, this is not my area, but should not Brad be warned not to work on the can unless he knows what he is doing because there is a very strong spring in the system that can hurt you?
Just realized you guys chimed in. Must be the new phone not notifying me.
Richard you are correct. Had a roadside service that knew what they were doing but he'd had to chase to Tulsa for a new part. 1hr each way. A bit of trouble with one of the bolts. 7 hrs later back on the road.
Thanks for the input.
Richard, we know all about those blown diagrams don't we.
Brad, out of curiosity, what ERS do use.....Coachnet, or Good Sam?
I don't have any roadside service. Not sure which ones are worth having. Would like to know if anyone has had any experience with any.
Yesterday my air dropped to 80 lbs while driving. I pulled over put on brakes air came back up to 120. Started driving again went back down to 80 lbs in 15 min. Kept driving went back to 120 took a while then it dropped to 100 and cane back up to 120 like normal.

I stopped in Edgewood NM for night and installed a new D2valve per recommendation of a shop in Albuquerque. Will be traveing west through Albuquerque this am then down the big hill southof Flagstaff stopping at sunset Point rest area for the night. Hope all goes well in both places.
Richard can you call me.
