The saga of coach 660 continues. Brakes now. The calipers have two bolts, both fine thread metric. The longer of the two, on the bottom, is GONE. trying to get information on the brakes, axles and drive carrier is almost impossible..
contacted Newell, no help. called who i think was the mfg for the rear drive axle. no help. been calling every nut and bolt mfg and you can guess, no help.
the missing bolt is an M16-1.5-approx 140-160 mm.
if anyone has suggestions, i am certainly open for them. Going to be at Newell on 1/8 for slide work and a couple of other things. I still don't have a fix for the erratic door closing
Dear Ron, The best way might be to remove the same bolt from the other side. Then it is a simple matter of showing it to some body and telling them you need another.
You can always ground off a bolt that is too long. Just chase the threads with the correct die ensure good threads.

Good Luck
thanks for the input. the bolts for the calipers are socket head, shoulder, fine thread..trying to find them is a real chore..fastenal has some but long enough..the search continues.

thanks, because of the size and pitch, it isn't easy to find bolts or identify them the search goes on

Now, you've hit the problem area..trying to identify the carrier for the drive wheels and tags. Newell doesn't know which system was used and can't identify the mfg..i will be in OK next to address this..ill let you know what i find..
