Can someone point me to the  locations of the info (V.I.N.) tags on a 1986??

Are there more than 1??

I call Newell and asked for a VIN tag location for my 1988, I was told there wasn't a VIN tag. They may be able to make you one.

There typically was a VN/Serial Number plate on the 1980's coaches. The location varied. Sometimes by the stairwell, sometimes by the driver's footwell on the side, likely other locations also.

My 1978 had one on the inside on the wall next to drivers side foot area.

On our 86 the VIN plate is on the wall , driver's left below the console with shifter , light switches , etc .

Thanks for the replies. Checked everywhere suggested as well as an hr. looking in the nooks and crannies. How big a tag am I looking for?? Is there a compliance tag in the engine bat somewhere? I called Newell and they were unsure of the tag locations as they basically put them anywhere. Not really a big deal but I should have checked for it last year when we bought it. Thanks, Mark


Newell ( Chris) called back and advised that the tag is actually a sticker attached to the wall panel by drivers left foot. So mine is gone as the wallpaper was removed at some point. They can make a new one though.
