We were working on forest's coach putting solar panels up using my scissors lift. It blew the main cylinder seal while we were up. It sprayed fluid all over
It took us longer to clean up than to put the panels on

That is what my floor looks like after I work on mine but is usually blood not hydraulic fluid.
thanks guys, what you cant see is my coach is parked next to his.
i ordered the seal kit for the genie lift. an amazing 170 bucks. just for some seals. evidently the ram is pretty heavy. like over 100 lbs just for the rod of the ram. should be fun. i broke the glam nut loose this after noon with a pipe wrench.

got the scissor lift fixed. that 4 foot long 2 inch diameter solid stainless ram was heavy. i got it all out myself, using ratchet straps and blocks of wood. but after rebuilding it i needed help to get it back in straight in the cylinder.
i ended up putting almost 3 gallons of fluid in afterwards....so that is how much i spent hours getting off my floor....ha
