Good morning, i own coach 1403 a 2010 model , it has a 2008 Cat c-15 625 HP Acert engine. My Question is, more and more truckstops are switching over to Bio diesel, has anyone heard if its ok to burn this diesel with this engine? any comments would be appreciated.

I have a 2007 with a pre cert C15 and the biodiesel does not bother it at all. Not sure how your engine will do. You could always call your local CAT dealer and get their opinion. The CAT dealership said my engine was a keeper being a pre cert engine.

Just my thought we get a lot of trucks out of
Texas where they sell a lot of bio diesel. Many times we have gunked up tanks. Last year we ended up losing a fuel pump in Waco Texas. Luckily it was covered under our warranty and when we talked to the administrator he said they get a lot of fuel problems out of Texas he assumes it was bio fuel so when we do buy it we doctor it with Lucas just my 2cents worth.
