The Sunshine bridge on LA Hwy 70 across the Mississippi River will be closed through January for repairs. It was hit and damaged by a crane barge on 10-12 and is closed. I know most gurus won't travel this route but it is causing major traffic delays on the I-10 bridge across the river in Baton Rouge, especially at morning and evening commute times.
Just a FYI to be aware of increased traffic if anyone is planning that route.
