Newell Gurus

Newell has just announced its new cockpit. "Combining advanced electronic instrumentation, ergonomic and intuitive touch screen controls and a level of design and material refinement only found in the most luxurious automobiles, the new dash must be seen to be appreciated."



The instrument cluster features a 15" display in 1024 x 68 retina clarity. 



Two separate screens provides navigation tool for the driver and the passenger using Rand McNally technology with a mirrored digital feed to the passenger.

Another 15" Infotainment Panel is located in the center console can be controlled by touchscreen or the control knob on the left arm console.

This screen allows monitoring of climate control, entertainment selection, exterior camera views, navigation, leveling system, mirror control and more.


Completing the new dash is a removable mini iPad located to the right of the 15" Infotainment monitor. The mini iPad operates the Intrepid 2.0 house management system.

That is cool. When will it drive itself? Distracted drivers of 50k lbs coaches may not be a great thing...

So I've heard of some Newell owners upgrading to a new exterior front cap to update their coach...but is this offered as an interior retrofit for older than 2020 Newells (and if so...dare I ask pricing?)

Amazing system! The only thing I'm not seeing is head up displays - which, frankly I'm surprised were not incorporated into this upgrade. We have them in our vehicles, and after driving a loaner without it, it was really hard to go back!

I suspect that with enough $'s Newell would do anything you wanted. The primary front cap upgrade was substituting the 2000+ smiley front cap for the 1990-1999 front cap and did not involve any interior/dashboard changes.

That is beautiul ! I calculated that a used 2021 Newell will fit in my buget in 2050. I will be 99 years old.

Full autonomous driving Newell would be awesome especially for getting across Texas. Drive straight through while sleeping in the back....
