Front entry, bath and a half, 4 slides, ZF suspension. 4 roof airs. 79,900 miles.

So this one has caught Patty's eye. For her the only thing it lacks is having the dinette on the passenger side. But to me, it is a ZF with 315's.  The conversion to 365's requires new hubs, new fenders ect.  Expensive correct?  Is the conversion necessary?  What is the GAWR of the front end?

Also see it has no patio awning...that I find interesting.  It's very close to us.

Actual: 50,580# Front 15,990# Drive 21,850#, Tag 12,740#

With the 315/80R22.5 the front axle would be tire load limited to 18,160# (9,080# per tire) while the 365 tires are rated at 10,500#/tire.

That coach was 25 coaches prior to the 2000i body style change which integrated the awnings into the rail at the top. With the front door awning (rare) and the awning of the large front slide and the rear slide, there is only an area of a few feet on the curb side that doesn't have awning although you are correct in that the awnings do not extend out as far as a Girard main awning would.
If #697 would be similar in weights, then the 315's are fine. But.....
  • speed is reduced to 65 mph
  • change over to 365 is expensive as I recall reading.....$16K
The CCC capacity looks very good.  Does each coach have the chart showing the CCC's, and where will the chart be found?

Thank you Michael for your amazing knowledge and data base.  Observations of my  short experience here, the gurus rival our Alpine forum on iRV2, maybe even more so, with no two coaches alike.
