looking for spec information on height (air up and down) on a 2003 Newell .
Can you drive forward or backwards about 100 feet ,  straight drive,  with the air down.
looking to see if it will fit into my garage.
Thanks Much - Rick.
I would guestimate based on my coach, a 99, very similar undercarriage, that you could drop about 3 maybe 4 inches and roll slowly. The problem is that the tires will hit the fender flares.

What is the height of the obstacle or door you must pass under?

To the best of my knowledge I am 12'6" at travel height, so I might could slip under 12' 3" but I would do it very slowly with a spotter who was on a ladder with a clear line of sight.

Others may have different measurements for their roofline.
Working alone on my 99, on a concrete level pad, I measured 13' 6" to the ground from the highest point ( the exhaust stack for the gen/AquaHot ). I have been told it is no more than 13' 3". But I will not knowingly drive under anything less than 13' 6" at normal ride height.
Make certain there are no hanger clips on the fender flares that could hit the tire. Believe me that could gouge a nice groove in your tires even driven a short distance!
Ditto what Russ said.
My coach moves from travel height 3" up and 4" down. I have a 16' ceiling height with a 14' door to go under. I put the coach in the garage in the travel mode. I have roof airs and have no problem. My coach from garage floor to top of roof airs is 13'-2"
in the travel mode. I don't go under anything that dosn't have at least 13'-6" clearence.
richard, if i remember right you do not have the extra raised roof. the 03 likely does. so could be a bit higher than yours. my 02 is closer to what rons is.

tom
btw, i put a 15 foot high door on my shop. 14 foot wide

Thanks Much for all reply's
Rick
I do not have the raised roof. But then again, a littler feller like me doesn't need it.
