moved my coach from the shop to the side so we could get ready for our annual bbq party

it was much wetter than it looked and in making the turn around the back of the shop i sunk like a rock

coach was leaning way over and passenger side wheels were buried.

adrian and wade dug it out and we put a big piece of 3/4 inch plywood on the ground in front of the drive wheels

it pulled right out....kinda

now the diff lock light is stuck on.  have to figure that out on monday whe we move back in the shop

Sorry Tom,

I am sure you will get some better advice from the real mechanical gurus, but from one EE to another, here goes.

I am guessing the diff locked light is actuated in some way by the actual position of the pin doing the locking. It other words, I would tend to believe the light.
If that is so, you will need to unlock it somehow before those drive wheels get good traction on your beautiful concrete driveway. The torque produced in anything but a straight drive in the garage will vastly exceed the rating of the drive components. Bill's stripped spline comes to mind.

Good luck and enjoy your food and friends.

Or try driving it a bit longer distance, in the gravel, to see if it releases.
any deeper and your Kickie steps would have had a strange angle~
Would the diff locks disengage at a certain speed? Maybe we could drive it down the street at 100mph and get it to dis-engage :-) It would be fun to see the neighbors faces if nothing else!
