I am looking to improve the water manifold on our 1984 classic. It is constructed from some type of water block, in conjunction with Home Depot ball valves that all leak externally to some extent. This results in the coach water pump cycling  after changing state of the valves. In addition, it is easy to forget the multiple valve changes needed to go from city to on board water , or to fill the tank.

All suggestions and photos are welcome  Angry
Should have enough room to change it to something like this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Apollo-12-Po.../202709898

You should be able to find one with the number of ports you need.
Thank you Forest. I have been avoiding Pex, but I thing it is a good time to put away my torch and solder, and  just do it. Any downside to Pex in an rv?
Pex being flexible and less apt to break if frozen should be a better choice than copper or pvc. Sharkbite transition fittings are available for copper to pex, or you can use the clips with a crimp tool. Shop around for prices on the manifold and fittings.
Have fun! and be glad you have so much room to work with, saves a lot of skin.
When I get my 86 back one of the projects I have planned is to re-plumb everything in pex. As Forrest points out it is less prone to damage from freezing plus you can easily identify the purpose of lines by using different color pex.
