The coach is back and I thought I would post a couple of shots of the replaced rear air bags, as it might help others contemplating  replaceing theirs.
The old bags were Firestone 1T15M-0 which are still available under a new number.
New bags are Goodyear  2095 , which were sourced in Las Vegas. I am unable to Google 2095 airbags.

224.00 each with a total of 6 hours labor for r and r of the bags. Labor rate was 115.00 per hour.
I had overnight air charges that I am sure were loaded in to the coast of the air bags. The shop also replaced airlines to the brake canisters. Got to love the cost of 1.45 ft for air lins , and brass fittings at 3.00 each. Since I ended up at a full service industrial shop, I had them replace our rusted out exhaust system. A lot of welding was done, as the muffler was determind to be in excellent shape but all the piping was replaced.

Next season we will replace the front 4 bags....
the firestone number you listed is not the airbag part number.  the airbags are made up of several parts.  the 1T15M-0 number is just the bellows (rubber bag part) and it is used in a number of different airbag assemblies.  Firestone No. W01-358-9039 is the likely bag number.  it is a functional equivalent to the goodyear bag below and uses the bellows number you listed.

2095 is not a valid goodyear airbag number

1R12-095 Goodyear Air Spring  this is a valid part number.  is that the bag you put on?  they are 110 bucks apiece online.

how many total bags are on the coach?

tom
8 bags in total on our hippie bus.. All the same part . You are correct about the air bag part number. The number you stated W01-358-9039 is very faintly ink stamped on the old bag on the attached metal base next to my tape measure in the photo.
I was not there when they replaced the bags. They told me they had sourced a Goodyear equal to the original Firestones. The Invoice reads 2095 . I am guessing the office missed the 1R1 on the packing slip from their vendor.

BTW, the Jake brakes are not nearly as impressive without any exhaust leaks.
It’s too late for you, sorry, but this may help others in the future. Just Saturday, I had the opportunity to help @"RussWhite" with a air brake air line issue. When I first removed the line, I saw the exact fittings as in your picture, and I thought it was a custom made deal. Cutting to the chase scene, we ended up at a TruckPro parts place. The guy took one look at it and said how many do you need and what length? 16 dollars for the premade replacement.
Richard, the air lines was the bright spot during this episode. The shop had the fittings in stock at 3 dollars each and the hose at 1.50 per foot. It seems that the fitting is used on some of the specialty trucks he repairs. Perhaps firetrucks?
Guy, as you know, our coaches both have a finished build date of January 1984. Just to confirm something about the air bags. You are certain that the number stamped on the top or bottom of your old air bag in the photo with the tape measure is as Tom suggested a Firestone Airide W01-358-9039? I am asking because I am seriously considering ordering 8 of these for my 1984 35' Newell, which seems to still have the original bags (based on maintenance paper work I have for the past 20 years or so). I am working with a fellow named Morgan at Newell to see if he can confirm what bag Newell would suggest I use but he does not seem to be familar with the 9039 ending. I have found some W01-358-9039s for about $110 each but am reluctant to order until I can be positive they will work for my coach. Thanks.

Here are a couple of photos of my current bags, but I cannot find any numbers.
Wow, I am not disputing your documentation or assessment. However, there is no way those bags are twenty years old. I don’t see any checking at all. Unless the checking was lost in the photo resolution.

Has @"encantotom" looked at them yet?

Plus if you lookup the Firestone air bag catalog, you will find technical documentation in there that would allow you to confirm the number. The number is a hieroglyphic that tells you top plate, bottom plate, and air bag height and diameter. Compare that to what you have.
Here are some photos from our air bag change out.  We had an inspection at All Aboard America in November and none of us saw anything but very mild checking,  The checking was not obvious until the bags were  fully extended  even on the bag in the photo which had blown out.

Notice that there is one stenciled digit in question in the photo. I was not able to enhance the number with cleaning of the marking. Coud have been 9039 or 9089, but

Tom's post in this thread of March 29 nailed our part numbers down.

I am keeping a slightily used 34 year old bag as a spare until we replace the front bags. If you need any measurements or photos let me know.
Be sure to have them change the lines to your brake chambers. Replacement DOT fittings and line was 35 dollars in total, with 1/2 hour labor

As Tom said,  I also found the bags to be available between 110 amd 175 on the net.

As I am usually 90 days behind whatever Clarke does, I was recovering from a hernia operaion, amd not able to try to deal with the blown air bag. Our bill had about a 60 percent markup on the bags, plus 6 hours labor at 110 per hour, including fab of the DOT brake chamber lines.  I was very happy to have the problem solved for me.

glenn,

you can of course do whatever you choose to. first of all, newell is usually going to be of no help in telling you what airbag you have. they usually just say take one off and get the number.

what i would suggest is to get here, lets have a good look at them when the coach is cribbed up in my shop, and decide then. i will have a look at clarkes coach today and see how hard they look to change. my guess is they are alot easier than on the newer ones, but will have a look.

you could check with suppliers and see if they are stocking that many of them and how long to get shipped to here.

tom
btw, if it is this airbag, it is a very common bag. here are a list of cross reference part numbers....
