Shower top rollers needed - lbrachfe - 11-12-2013

Hi All,
One of the top roller bolts that is vulcanized into rubber in the housing broke off below the nut. I will have to buy the whole assembly if that bolt doesn't come out. It is the round door shower. Anyone have a parts source or any fix other than the part replacement which I'm sure is not cheap. I have to hold the door up and lock it in place so it wont fall.....

I, too, needed shower door help. The number given by TUGA didn't work, but their website gave me a good one, 203/880-9900 for Mill USA. These people were the original importers for Newell on the Italian shower doors. Pam quoted me $85 each for bottom clips, $125 each for top rollers, $110 for neoprene seal at roller 56" long, and $85 each for magnets that held door in place (times 2). Shower curtain looks like a more economical solution (and practical)? It is nice to retain the original features, but....

I just paid $49.50 and bought it at Liberty coach in Stuart, Florida. I knew they had the same showers for years, so called parts and they had one in stock. Wanted two, but happy for the one. When they asked what Liberty coach and I said a Newell they didn't want to sell it to me anymore, but grudgingly did. The bottom clips I purchased from Newell for $52 and the top plastic/neo rail guide was $160 each 2 years ago.

Tom,
I found different prices everywhere and Newell was cheapest on some parts.... Now everything is OK with the shower and hope it stays this way for quite some time .....

How is Hedy's foot?

RE: Shower top rollers needed - lbrachfe - 11-14-2013

Still elevated a 10 days after surgery to make sure the 3 toes stay attached. She is just starting to get around today on a knee walker that looks like a kids scooter that keeps one leg above the ground. Being in a Newell makes recovery so much easier too....lol ...Thanks for asking and the note you sent....Hedy sends ''Thank You's".....
