day 2 of drywall. they have the ceiling about 80 percent done.

i thought it would feel smaller inside when you couldnt see the rafters and the roof sheating, but that isnt the case. it feels almost bigger inside now.

they said the walls will go alot faster.

Day 3 of drywall hanging. they finished up well after dark.

you can see the bottom 8 foot is left undone. i will do that later once i figure out what i am going to do there.

the drywall hanging crew said it was the biggest tall ceiling they had done.

next is the drywall screw inspection.

it will be fun to see how it feels in the daylight tomorrow. when they were done it was dark and they were working with a floodlight.

Are you planning to blow cellulose insulation in the ceiling?

RE: Newell House - whatsnewell - 12-29-2014

Wow, that is a lot of drywall, and a lot of 'mud' will be needed to seal all the seams. Looking good Tom!

this morning 5 stucco guys showed up.  man do they go fast.  they did the entire back wall in 2 hours.  now they are doing the side wall facing the house.  they will come back tomorrow and do the other two walls and then let it set for a week.

the drywallers are doing the 6" box on the seams today.  they might get it done doing that today.  we will see.

here are few more pictures.
