This is perfect! I was just now wondering how to remove that dash! I'm still trying to figure out how to get the old black and white monitor out of the original (way too low) hole in the dash... Not sure if the other trim pieces on the front come apart that easily!

I concluded it was too much trouble to remove the old monitor, so I just left it in.

I was able to get it out on my '98. If I can remember back that far I think I reached behind near the accelerator to unhook it. It was just held in by a metal bracket and once I bent the ends it pulled out. I glued a piece of black ABS plastic then mounted a this 7" monitor from Rearviewsafety.com on the bottom of the overhead cabinet where you would normally have a rearview mirror.
