Great picture,, we were stranded there in a boat once, due to low tides.....Back in the early 90's. Lots of hard drinking at that time. The small town was walkable.
Enjoy!!

Yep....the low tides here really get LOW! Walling into town for breakfast in a few minutes......everything is walking distance here....we love it!

LOL.....we'll be here until February 1st....

RE: The full time dream! - folivier - 01-02-2013

Where to after the 1st?
We are paid up until the 21st here and thinking of a couple week road trip. Maybe we could meet up somewhere?
Have to be back near New Orleans around the end of Feb. to watch our son run his first marathon.

Well, from here we are heading south (around February 1st) to the real Keys, then up the east coast. Would love to see you guys!

Here is a map of our travels in 2012.....some 12,400 miles in 11 months. We'll be slowing down the pace significantly from here on out. For instance, our coach will not move one inch the entire month of January.

clarke,

so 12,400 miles is how many stops? like 124?

first thing my mind does is look at how much the fuel would cost to go that far....

it is cool to see all the place you have been.

thanks

tom

RE: The full time dream! - whatsnewell - 01-05-2013

Tom, probably about 900 stops......Big Grin I think we probably spent $6,000 on fuel.

I was surfing YouTube last night and found tons of videos by a producer who goes by clarkehock. Pretty entertaining stuff. I highly recommend it if you have not viewed the traveling vignettes of our friends Clarke and Elaine. Good stuff.
