One set of taps is on the left side and the other set is behind the panel where the circuit board is. Didn't get a picture of inside the unit when they added them.

Tom, mine are in the same place as Forest. Mine also have rubber grommets where they come through the metal. Sorry don't have a photo where they attached them inside. Forest make sure the copper tubes don't touch the steel or the copper will corrode. Grommets would be easy enough to insert at any time.

You don't think you'll have enough room?
Could you come out of the top? Cut out an opening then screw a piece of sheet metal to cover it?

i am not at the coach as you know. the top is all a box that is carpeted for storage.

i guess i may have to buy a vacuum pump and learn how to do this....

i have a buddy in the aircon biz so i can get freon.

If the unit is low on rerefrigerant then it makes send to find the leak and add ports. If the unit is functioning as intended I would not add ports. The unit is intended to be hermetic like a refrigerator. All ports leak, some faster than others.

On mine the wood carpeted piece is screwed onto the top of the a/c box. Remove it and you can pull out your a/c then remove the top sheet metal piece.
But why do you need that for storage? You never use your coach any more............

Tom, you don't have expended metal below the unit?
