Just pulled in to stretch legs south of Normal IL.
We're headed to Waveland MS for a week.
It was 14 degrees this morning, can't wait for highs near 80!

Great week.  Spent the time at Bucaneer State Park, parked about 40 yards from the Gulf.
Highs in the 70's-80's, the kids spent quite a bit of time on the beach, everyone has a bit of sunburn.
Took a day trip to New Orleans.
The coach ran great; 2,189 miles round trip, I'm loving the new power train.
Got back last night around 7.

Just finished a 16 day stint dry camping at Lone Rock National Recreation area on the shores of Lake Powell (Utah).....70-'s during day and 50's at night.  We are now at Goosenecks State Park (near Mexican Hat, UT) for 10 days dry camping once again.

Great area to buy some native American jewelery Clarke. You can easily haggle down the prices at the roadside stands.

The French Quarter in New Orleans was about how I remember it 20 years ago, dirty and a bit of a freak show.  It was the first time for my wife and kids, so we had to take a look.
I wouldn't make a long trip just to see it, but there is plenty to do nearby, so it's worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.
Picked up some fresh seafood and crawfish, cooked some pretty nice meals at the campsite a couple of nights.
