After flying to Ft Myers, FL from Baltimore 2 weeks ago to see 1 Newell, a sold show coach, we are on our way to Indio, CA from Baltimore, MD to look at several Newell coaches... and these are actually for sale! Flight leaves at 8:20am tomorrow and we leave to come back home on Sunday, 03.13.16 @5:42pm PST, plus setting the clocks ahead 1 hour so we arrive back in Baltimore at 3:52am 03.14.16, sure hope all this is worth it!
Happy trails,
Ted & Margaretann

Happy hunting. Have you been to the factory? They typically have a couple of new models for sale and 15-20 used Newells for sale.

The Newell factory sales rep said there were not any units in Miami, OK as they do not sell very well in that area this time of year. He suggested we fly to Ft Myers because we would see more units there than OK. We arrived as instructed and saw only 1, the show coach which was sold. We did see Newmar, Tiffin, Prevost, Foretravel and quickly ruled them out for various reasons. The fit and finish of the Newell is unsurpassed...in our opinion. I am also most impressed with the detail on the architectural floor plan drawings and the interior is quiet and well ventilated. Well, it is 2:24 am EST and about time to get showered and packed to drive to Reagan National for the 2 leg, 5.5 hour in air flight time into Ontario, CA then a 90 mile drive to Indio, CA. We should arrive at the RV Park at 3:30pm PST if all goes well. We depart the following day, Sunday 03.13.16 at 5:36 pm PST and will arrived back in Baltimore on Monday morning at 3:35am EST. Wow, what an adventure this will be. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks for the support. Ted...Margaretann is still sleeping. Happy trails.

I also flew to Indio to look at coaches. You might want to pencil in extra day or so if you have time. I ended up buying one and driving it home to Kansas City!

Has 1415 been on the market as used since 2016?

I am still trying to figure out the market realities of this. Was looking at an article from 2011, the year this was made. The retail new back then was 1.2 --That would mean that some sold for less than million back then. The current ask price at Newell is still pretty close to that now. It is now 2019, or 8 model years.....

Now I have only been here a week. And me (and now my wife) have come to agree that these are likely the best motorhomes ever made. But I still do not understand the economics: How can it be that rigs that sit for along time still command such prices? Or will this one really?
