Downtown Chicago - McCormick Place Parking? - Junior Guru - 06-12-2017

Has anyone ever dry-camped or parked in downtown Chicago?

It looks like McCormick Place has RV/Bus parking for $31/day.  The video below looks like it's ok and says there is 24 hour security - but I'm not sure about it.

Here's some good info and video http://www.gonewiththewynns.com/downtown-chicago-rv-camping

So, we just left Chicago and just wanted to confirm that just about everything in the video above regarding dry camping in McCormick Convention center parking lot is correct and applies to big rigs. I think it's ok for one to two nights of visiting downtown Chicago. It's easy to get in and out (as long as no construction). You can take an easy bike ride on lakeside blvd to MI Ave, downtown or just uber.
