I've collected cars for most of my 80 years. Had many that I wish I still had but this was my favorite! (I say I wish I still had because I've sort of forgot all the work that went in to maintaining them) Now I just love driving the sl500 and taking it in for service once a year, so much more bang for the buck! IMHO

So many good ones out there to choose from . . .
My first car - 1969 Chevelle, SS396 4spd console -- still miss that one!

My dream car is a 1930's Packard sedan, like a '32 Packard Light Eight 'Shovel nose' (stock exterior appearance, but a modern performance drive train )

An S63 AMG mercedes sedan is also an impressive ride too . . . . .

'77-79 Lincoln, either Town Car or Mark.  I've owned them both, kinda wish I still had one.

Actually, now that I think about it, how cool would it be to have one for a toad behind the Newell.  Smile

Favorites I've owned:

1974 Carrera IROC RSR, redlined at 9000 rpm, absolute 2200 lb monster.

1962 Fuelie Corvette

1971 Pantera and 72L Pantera

2007 911 GT3, redlines at 8400 rpm, but has heater and the beloved A/C

I read about this in today's local paper. A gentleman that spent 20 years restoring cars died in 2013, his wife died this year and the family is sending his collection to auction. Rare old cars were the love of his life. Here’s a chance to make one yours.
