Programmed the 60 -

A place that has worked on my engine before in Arkansas which is owned by a former detroit diesel tech. Talked me into programming the engine. This is my first road trip since having it done. This trip fort smith to okc is one I have done numerous times so I can compare accurately... 2 things I have noticed.. definite increase in power and my mpg is up 1.5 to 2 mpg at 67mph.. I'm averaging close to 8.75..

On a side note does anyone know what rpms they are running at 67mph. I was at 1600 I'm now about 1420

unless i am missing something, reprogramming the ddec and or tranny should not change the actual rpms that you are running in 6th gear at a certain speed. it could potentially change the shift points, but not the gearing.

You are correct Tom, changing the ring and pinon gear would only do that. At least that is what I am thinking.

Maybe I am incorrect. But that's what I was thinking
