Leveling a bus for a newbie - Traveler66 - 03-15-2018

Good Day and thanks for your patience with Newbies!
I level my airstream with pieces of horse stall mat or plastic blocks.
My friends with nice 5th wheels push a button and hydraulic jacks auto-level their units.
Do Newells, Prevosts, Newmars, and Foretravels have hydraulic jacks?
How do you level a bus in a State Park in the mountains?

Thanks

On Newells push a button and the airbags will level the coach. Very few had jacks but all have air leveling. The only limitation is in an extremely unlevel situation you can't raise the front tires off the ground like smaller rigs can, but that's why they have wheels Smile. I've never had a problem leveling my '93 or '98.

Thank you very much ..... so much to learn!

Just to quantify the situation. In my experience, the Newells will tolerate about a foot of out of level before the airbag leveling runs out of travel. After that, you live with the out of level, or drive it on blocks.
