Spring break 2018 - Fort Pickens, FL - wepaddle4 - 03-28-2018

We left last Friday after work, every truck stop and rest area were full; we spent a few hours sleeping in the Walmart parking lot, along with 8 other rv’s, south of Mount Vernon, IL.
Finally arrived Saturday evening, after stop and go traffic on 65 from north of Birmingham to Montgomery AL.  
Weather has been in the 70’s, cloudy / sunny; much nicer than home no matter what.
Park is nice, beautiful beaches, the fort is interesting, spent most of our time swimming, snorkeling, and losing bait on the fishing poles.  We watched the Blue Angels practice for a couple hours today while sitting on the beach.
Great to be able to get some fresh seafood and have a couple of feasts around the campfire for dinner.
We’re headed to the aviation museum on base tomorrow and are headed home Friday.?

No major issues; my driver side wiper won’t run in automatic, it’s either time to replace the air motor or convert to electric.
