Bill Johnsons' flooring - Ernie - 02-24-2019

Bill and I had been busy doing demo. Found some issues with some rotted floors that will be corrected. He selected some nice hickory and will be installing that after we install some new plywood.

ernie, you are a true craftsman. make sure you supervise bill enough, he is kind of a goof off.

does anyone know what the round metal objects are with hex head on the Valid drop down?

RE: Bill Johnsons' flooring - Ernie - 02-25-2019

After 4 days off we got back on track. Adding new plywood in place of rot and new underlayment on drop down in salon.

bill, on my 90 the floor was bad in the same spot. reason was twofold.

1. the sideview mirrors were loose and letting water in through the bolt holes

2. where the fiberglass front cap and metal skin meets, the seal between the two was no longer sealed.

just a thought

I have already sealed the cap but will check the mirrors.  Thanks!

All prep completed. All underlayment installed. I started some new wood in entry.

That's going to look good, glad to see you have strict supervision to keep you on task.
