Sharkbite fittings come in removeable and non-removeable types. Removeable are a bit more $ but if you need to change out a part that would make it easier.

i used the removable ones. they are great. not a drip of leaks. you can match pex with copper etc.

Thanks for the heads up on the sharkbite fittings. I have heard of them, but never used them.

I put some sharkbites on about 2 years ago as a temporary fix & never saw a drop. If you get the removable ones, make sure you get the horseshoe style tool to remove them. Also make sure you mark the pipe/tube depth to make sure it is inserted correctly!

spot on. the little horseshoe tool is required to get them off and is a snap to do so when you have it. it cost a whole dollar so worth having.
