Going to look at #266 this weekend.current owner states that the coach will go into gear but will not go more that 5 mph.The security system had gone off and he did not know how to reset. would this cause the coach to only run 5 mph.Could use some help if anyone has any ideas. Thanks

simple point and probably covered, but just make sure the alarm is not turned on. that vintage it probably has a switch in the bedroom and maybe over the microwave.

On 281, the switches to arm the alarm are in the cabinet over the dinette close to the entry door, on the control panel next to the bed on the curb side and the key switch on the bay door in front of the entry.

ThanksĀ for all of the information . Did not get to try anything to see if it would work because the coach would not start

RE: #266 - Fulltiming - 02-11-2020

The ad says there is an issue with the transmission. It could be dead batteries keeping it from starting or if it doesn't do anything, it could be in gear which will override the ability to start the coach.

RE: #266 - Matt whaley - 02-11-2020

It did try to turn over but I think your right it needs new batteries and that might take care of the transmission problem also
