431 AquaHot pumps - rheavn - 12-29-2020

For anyone with the 431 model AquaHot, there are three zone pumps.  AquaHot charges over a $1,000 each.  They are a March pump

When you install one, make sure you prime it, they are not self-priming.

It also has an arrow for the flow.

Two of the three are leaking so I'm replacing them all. Any tips...................

I remember Rudy saying “apply a small air pressure to the fill neck which forces fluid through the pumps”.  I have not needed to do that yet!

I use a radiator pressure tester to put 15 psi in the coolant tank at the radiator filler neck. Make sure the coolant tank is lipping full. Turn the pump(s) ON and they will prime right away.
