Does anyone have a spare blade arm for 42 inch craftmade ceiling fan. 281-687-8687

I do not have a spare blade, but would like to know how to balance mine. It shakes at any speed more than very slow.

Home Depot sells balancing kits.

How to....

I have always been a big "fan" of Hunter Classic ceiling fans. Not the new type but the old cast iron pancake motors. If I could find one with the smaller blades I'd gladly change out the one in my coach.
In fact I have one of the last brass fans they made sitting in the box for whenever I buy another house.

You might check Amazon... appears they have some.

Has to be craft made

RE: ceiling fan - Trainer - 05-31-2013

Ashley,

Have you considered replacing all of the arms with matching new ones? Would the new arms have matching mounting holes, lack of which would be nearly a deal killer?

RE: ceiling fan - ashley - 05-31-2013

Rudy tried that but holes would not match. Factory quit making them. Hoping someone had to replace one. Comes four even if you need one

RE: ceiling fan - Ozarkguy - 05-31-2013

do you no the bolt hole spacing.. many have the same spacing.. there is a lot out there..

RE: ceiling fan - ashley - 05-31-2013

Its not just the hole spacing but the curve of the holder to position the blade in the proper place
