What are the "can't live without" features for you?
#1

Hi folks. My partner and I have owned RVs for 10+ years now. We previously had a 2011 Tiffin and sold it when we moved to Atlanta 3 years ago. Next spring will be the time we start hunting for our next coach. I would much rather have a used newell than a new tiffin. I have never been inside a newell but I know that our next coach will be a used newell. Under $200k for sure.

The few things that I feel like I wouldn't want to live without are the steerable tag axle, the air door (preferably mid not front) and the shades that all go up/down with a push or a button. I do really love the murphy bed design that some newells have. Putting a big TV on the underside lets the bedroom play double duty as a living room or home theater. That makes so much more sense to me than a regular bed.

What features do YOU really like in your newells?

Stacked washer and dryer.

You may be pressed to get into a steerable tag for 200k. All the other stuff such as aquahot is standard on Newell

2004 was the first year Newell offered murphy beds that I am aware. The middle of 2004 was also when Newell incorporated the ZF suspension with the steerable tag axle (there were 3 earlier 2004 models with the ZF suspension, 671,681 and 685 but all Newells beginning with #697 have the steerable tag). There are a few ZF suspension 2004 models that are getting into or close to the $200,000 price range #715, 710, 698.

I like the huge capacity tanks. Also, the 24/7 factory emergency support is a really valuable feature.

Thanks people. Michael thank you too for the inside, detailed info. I'll be on the hunt for a 2004 it sounds like! Are any of those particular units you mentioned for sale currently?

Don,
If you ask my wife she would say the dishwasher and stacked washer and dryer. I like the steerable tag axle, Aqua Hot, half bath, and the CAT engine.

Just checked and #715 has been sold but #710 is still available at Premium Coach Group http://premiumcoachgroup.com/product/200...mid-entry/ and #690 is still available at Motorhomes of Texas http://motorhomesoftexas.com/coachrv/new...-45--P1269.

Bath and 1/2, 4 air conditioners, steerable 3rd axle, over sized generators, Quality build that feel like they will still be standing at 300K miles and beyond. Factory support (24/7) and a shop that knows your coach and can repair it efficiently. My 2 cents
