Well DUH! The transmission diagnostic plug is the same plug as the engine uses, just different pins.
Also, the information given to me by the factory that the throttle position sensor used by the engine was not hooked into the transmission ECU is incorrect according to the tech checking out my unit. He said he was able to pick up TPS signals via the transmission ECU.
So now we know.
