Think so. The purpose of adding a switch is IF I ever need that alt. It would be ezy to turn on. But I don't plan to switch it with the gen running.

So I pulled the Ignition wire and ran the generator for a couple hours. No charging output.
That will work for what I want. Thanks for the advice!
