Air Conditioning
#11

Ozarkguy, The A/C s will not work. I should have known that without even giving it a try. My inverter automatically cuts on when I throw the 50 amp. breaker. So when I was working on my A/C s I made sure the wires were not still hot after I turned off the 50 amp. breaker. They were not. After turning the breaker back on just now the inverter was pulling 10 amps from both the inverter screen and the L-1. So the inverter will not run either of my A/Cs. There must be an automatic disconnect somewhere.

Just checking, wouldn't be much fun to have a surprise when one thinks the power is off... (;-)

Jimmy, that is true. Even after I checked the wires and saw they were not hot, I turned the 4 A/C breaker off anyway. Just makes one feel better.
