Hurricane Odile - My lucky day
#1

Fellow Gurus, while I am in Oregon, I dodged a bullet in San Carlos, Mexico. Some of you may have been wondering how my home survived. Several friends have visited my home today and report that the only issue is a dirty pool. Boy, am I lucky. I have attached a few photos, two are a few blocks from my home showing the size of the waves, and two are of my dirty pool. Unfortunately, another hurricane is forming to the south and I can only hope to be as lucky again. Chester

Wow! I've been through many hurricanes but always lived 50 miles or so from the open water. Now you have a REAL saltwater pool, whether you wanted one or not!

Chester,
That is impressive. I hear that salt water pools are the stuff! Good luck with missing the next one.

Cheers,

Wow.....your home is close to the ocean! Where in Oregon are you now? We are at Cape Blanco until the end of October.....hoping you will have time to stop by on your way south.

Sorry we missed you Clarke. We left Florence yesterday and are now in Northern California, via Eugene, where we will be for about a week. Enjoyed our two weeks on the Oregon Coast Highway from Astoria to Florence, especially Newport.
