Visiting the "Mother Ship" today...Hope I didn't forget my checkbook! Work on two slides, generator, some plug-in's that don't work and other stuff too numerous to mention. Hope we don't have to stay overnight, but are prepared if we have to!

One of the great parts of service at Newell is the ability to stay in your coach overnight when it is in for repairs. That and being able to watch the work being done so it becomes a learning experience are invaluable to me (especially with Quinn).

I am sure Newell can get the issues resolved.

Having a good time in the Customer Lounge...excellent coffee...were planning to leave earlier today, but little things keep popping up! We think we're about ready for a test drive. Lynda keeps complaining about the "rushing air" sound from the window on the passenger side, so they're going to drive it to see if somebody can figure it out. Someone suggested the weep hole covers were missing. When we leave we've got to go to Tulsa to Emergency Power to have them look at the generator. The guys here worked all day on it yesterday...rewired etc. It will start but won't stayed started. Going to stay here tonight so we'll have AC and TV!

Fill your ''Weep holes" with nylon fabric. Stuff little strips in with a pic tool. This will take care of any noise and still allow for water flow and nylon wont mildew up.

I made an observation this morning to my husband (as we've been having problems with keeping water in the stools) that Newell should have "an AP for That!"  Well, shortly after that I realized that we do...The Newell Gurus!!!!!
We've been in Texas for about a month now and off and on have had to pour water down the stools, especially one in the main bathroom, to flush them.  Such an irritation!  Here we have this beautiful coach and we have to flush the stool with a bottle of water.

My husband has a habit of fixing things that aren't broken, and since he had adjusted the water level in the stools right after we got here and was changing settings on the city water as opposed to using the tank water, we thought MAYBE something got adjusted.  So...this morning after reading a post about NOT using the Head-Hunter Water Pump in conjunction with City Water because it would blow out some valve...and setting the pressure to 60 pounds (we were only at 50 ), which he thought was more than sufficient...Voila!...the Toillettes are working. Thanks to the Gurus and especially John Williams who posted about the Head Hunter Pump.

By the way, Tom, we saw on a post that you had to re-glue or reattach some of the plexiglass "mirror" ceiling pieces and we'd like to know what you used to do that.  We've had to glue some of the laminate especially in the doorways and used epoxy, but someone said it didn't work on the ceiling tile. Tom, you went from a '90 to an '02 like we did and what a vast difference in the height, water system, air system.  We are so much smarter than we were 6-moths ago...but...continuing to learn!

I know in my case, they will call and ask me to come because they need to build a new wing or replace some equipment. I've started to not go to Newell. I just have a monthly allotment to them.  

Actually, without them I would be in deep caca on some things.
