Thank you, it was a lot of work. I only had time to do it after work every day.
But I sure did enjoy using it this weekend. My brother raced at central Texas speedway in Kyle texas this weekend. He started racing last year and this is the first weekend he actually completed a race and finished 5th out of over 20 cars. Hopefully we have got some of the hard lessons learned and have a better year.

RE the fuel tank, though the race car and the racing results are awesome. Is that a sump on the bottom? I was always afraid to let the fuel tank get too low in the 77 coach because when all the fuel runs to one side going around curves the engine would temporarily try to run on air which diminished the power a tad. A sump would be a great solution.

Yes, it is a large sump with a drain petcock on the bottom.
On my 1981 newell I ran out of fuel when the tank was low on a steep incline.
I usually try and keep it above 1/2 tank and on long trips 1/4 tank

Thanks Paul, that's good news. I guess it's time to crawl under my 93 and see if it has the sump. Less worry if it's there, especially given that the fuel gauge isn't exactly accurate.
