mystery switch

I am thinking that having a dump valve and macerator switch that only works when the key is on would not be
very pc in this day and age.

Consider it a safety feature. You can't accidentally open it when parked. I have found the curbside dump valve very handy when pulling forward into a site meant to be a back-in site but with a bay view to the rear. Nice view with a 5th wheel, not so much with a coach.

My foretravels also had retard switches. When the kids did something dumb, I would say, "must have forgot to turn off the retard switch"
