Only possible issue is that the disc fails in the closed position and the fan stays on all the time.

Yes, but hopefully will notice the lower temps and power. 
Where did you get the yellow lights on your 95?

Turn signal and running lights came from shotofgas on eBay Or if you mean the inner headlights. Those were glass E code lights from Brazil. I put heavy plastic film on them to protect from stone breakage. You get get the film in yellow
