Hi all,

We recently-ish signed an agreement with Newell, the document basically is this:

1. That you will only use the mark NEWELL in a nominative fair use way, i.e.
   to refer to Newell Coach products and only in a non-commercial manner;
   
2. That you acknowledge that only Newell Coach owns trademark rights in the
   term NEWELL for motor homes or motor home related services;
   
3. That you are not claiming any trademark rights in the term NEWELL, and
   will not attempt to register any trademark that contains the term NEWELL(or
   any variation thereof) or enforce any trademark rights in a mark that contains
   the term NEWELL (or any variation thereof) against any party;
   
4. That your web site is and will remain a non-commercial forum for those with
   interests in Newell products; and
   
5. That you will put the following disclaimer prominently on the home page of
   your web site in a size and location to be mutually agreed upon:
   
   "This site is non-commercial site intended as a forum for
   those interested in discussing Newell brand motor homes.
   Newell is a registered trademark of Newell Coach
   Corporation. Newell Coach Corporation is not associated in
   any way with this web site. Any use of the Newell
   trademark on this site is intended as a non-commercial fair
   use reference only to Newell Coach Corporation products,
   and is not intended in any way to indicate ownership of any
   rights in the Newell trademark by anyone other than Newell
   Coach Corporation."
   

So maybe you saw it, or never noticed, but we have had a disclaimer at the bottom of our pages for about a month. The agreement doesn't effect our usage and running of our site, now or ever. Newell has no stake or control over us.
