Not to hijack this thread, but I just blew brand new Michelin outer drive axle tire. Marc and I actually discussed on phone couple days ago. I checked pressure before I left, ambient temp around 65F, no issues, i have TPMS, not sure the cause. Thankfully my wife was laying down in back and heard it, because I didn't feel it driving. We were able to drive for couple miles slowly and exit. TPMS was blinking but I didn't notice it until my wife notified me.

Bottom line, blow outs can occur at any time with any age tire.
