New "guru", #1234

Greetings Gurus,

I am excited to say "hello" after lurking on your forums for some time now.  Our family has procured coach 1234 (has a nice ring to it, yeah?), and we will be remodeling it this winter in preparation to go full time next summer.  For now we are based in Boulder, CO.

We previously spent 1.5 years full time with our 3-year-old in a Dutch Star.  That was a great coach, we had a good time, and this time around we decided to go for the best!  We know a little more about our wants and needs now, too.  Our daughter is now 6, and we will try our hand at homeschooling for a couple of years.

I have a lot of questions and learning to do, so I hope to meet some of you here and in person one day on the road.

Cheers!

Ben

Welcome Ben. Looks like a very nice low mileage coach. Might want to add your coach number and model year to your signature so we will give you the best answers possible since systems change through the years.

Thanks for the warm welcome, gentlemen.  It is definitely a low-mileage coach...  maybe almost too low.  The genset had 230 hours on it when I picked it up; I managed to triple that in three weeks since something is wrong with my inverter setup and I wanted to keep the fridge on for the long journey home.  :-)

Whoever owned this coach in the past did a good job keeping it in great shape.

More pics are available on the Newell site at here.

I can't wait to pick your brains on all kinds of stuff!  So many questions, so little time...  ha!
