On our coach a PO of 385 has installed a flush mounted elec fan on the CAC
To make fan run the is a switch near the fan. We have not required the extra cooling

The radiator on the Detroit 2-stroke engines does have lots to do. It cools heat from:
1) the engine coolant
2) the engine oil via an oil to engine coolant heat exchanger internal to the engine
3) the charge air via an air to engine coolant heat exchanger internal to the engine
4) the transmission oil via an oil to engine coolant heat exchanger internal to the radiator
