Repeat of previous posts on same topic
#1

I am curious as to how the forum setup can avoid repeating previous posts each time a new comment is made.  Recently there were repeats of six prior post attached to a reply.  I guess I am simply lazy trying to avoid reading all of them again and again.

Chester are you talking about posters using the quote feature? Or different previous posts about the same subject?
A few people have suggested having a "sticky" on popular subjects, maybe that could be implemented?

ok, i think you are talking about why the previous post was included in the response. that happens when you use the reply that is in the post. instead, use the new reply instead. then you will just have your reply
