303 Protectant?
#1

I saw a youtube of a guy extolling the virtues of soaking your serpentine belt in 303 Protectant before installation. He had a belt with 300,000 miles from a car that still showed no cracks on the inner ribs. He also highly recommended it for tires (inside and out) to prolong the life of the rubber. I have heard that Armor All is not recommended by some detailers because it is petroleum based but a few years ago they changed the formulation to a water-based formula similar to 303. I'm interested in thoughts from my fellow Gurus on this.....

I use 303 protectant for the UV protection on my tires. I also use it on the roof for some plastic items. Seems to be well respected. I have no complaints. Seems also to be the only thing approved to use on tires.
