Run out of diesel while running the generator
#1

We ran out of diesel while running the generator yesterday, we opened the valve to share diesel with the main tank and today we wen't to start it, it took a few tries but after running for like 10 minutes it stoped on it's own, we started it back again and it works but after a few minutes it shutdowns, oil pressure is normal and water temp is fine, should I bleed air from the lines? Change the fuel filter?

Thank you

I would change the filter and bleed the lines. As you emptied the tank you could have sucked some crud or water into the filter.

Just by changing the fuel filter did the trick, started right up.

Thanks!
