Trip to Phoenix, AZ
#21

Thanks everyone! I am taking Tom’s good advice and taking a deep breath... I will look at the fan this afternoon and check where the leak is located for sure using the white towel method (good idea).

After several days of cleaning the engine and engine bay is now pretty nice to look at. We replaced the seals on the Hydraulic fan motor (and I learned a lot about that thing and how to deal with the engine fan). I SCRUBBED the engine bay all the way to the back wall - it was very nasty where the Turbo blew oil/sludge all over it. Now we are moving on to the other side of the engine where it looks like the air compressor motor is leaking antifreeze but I’m pretty sure it is just a hose clamp. After that I believe the engine will be tight and leak-free!
