#1
Thumbs Down

1 air bag got hole. I need to replace all 8 along with ride height valves.  need part number for 2 front which are Firestone, 4 drive which are Goodyear, 2 tag which are Firestone and suggestion on where to purchase. I think they are all what came on the coach #689 a 2004. I have got a track day next weekend and need to get fixed by this Thursday if possible. Thanks for your help

Ron, I purchased mine through truckspring.com Bill Johnson and I both have had problems with Goodyear on the drive axle. I just replaced mine with Firestone, and happy. The difference is how the bead seats. The Goodyear leaked for both of us. Not sure of your part numbers. I purchased what Steve Bare posted on this site

Ron,
I'm guessing that your coach has the ZF chassis which would have different air springs than Mike's & mine.  This is the one area that Newell really drops the ball and makes it very difficult for future owners of used Newells.  They fail to provide the proper documentation for parts used in constructing a coach.  They use the excuse that no two Newells are the same.  That is true for the house construction, but the chassis are built the same for extended periods.  My Country Coach had wonderful documentation that included schematics and a complete parts list.

I found the numbers for my air springs by removing each type and comparing it with a Firestone catalog.  I  purchased the front air springs at Newell and the rears at Truckspring.com.

mike, i replaced the good year that was on the tag of my 99 that was leaking sometimes with another new goodyear as i was having a hard time finding a firestone. the new goodyear had been redesigned and i think addressed at least the problem i was having. which was that it appeared to be breaking a bead like seal at times.

Tom,
The Goodyear you used for the tag on the '99, was that the 1R11-202?
